Ambassador of Ukraine to Great Britain Valery Zaluzhny and head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications Kyrylo Budanov have gained a high level of trust among Ukrainians, which puts them on the same level as the current president, Volodymyr Zelenskyi.
Oleksiy Antipovich, head of the Sociological group “Rating”, said this in an interview with RBC-Ukraine.
“I will say this: Zaluzhnyi, Zelenskyi and Budanov. These are three surnames that enjoy the highest level of trust among Ukrainians. Everyone has their own perception,” Antipovich said.
The sociologist noted that these three persons can compete in the presidential elections. Zaluzhny is associated with the image of the “father of the nation”, Budanov is associated with an “interesting mystery”, and Zelensky, in turn, symbolizes the possibility of peace in conditions of war.

According to the results of polls conducted in December, the level of trust in Zaluzhnyi is about 75.7%, which indicates his popularity. Budanov also has high trust scores. Despite the ongoing war, Ukrainians believe that it is important to focus on the preservation of the country, and not on political ambitions. At the same time, finding leaders who uphold the national spirit becomes critical for society.
