Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Har Stere announced the intention to increase financial support to Ukraine from $2.4 billion this year to approximately $2.7 billion in 2025.

In September, the Norwegian authorities extended the period of providing annual aid to Ukraine until 2030 and intended to allocate an additional $475 million annually for these purposes. At that time, it was reported that the total aid to Kyiv will increase to $12.8 billion by 2030 – approximately $5.7 billion will go to the country’s needs.
At the same time, the mass media recall that there were disagreements between the center-left minority government in Norway and the opposition regarding the amount of aid that Oslo should provide to Ukraine.
