According to surveys, 71% of Ukrainians will not rent housing for the New Year. That is, they will celebrate at home.
Only 6% of citizens plan a winter trip. Another 3% are considering the option of renting a house or apartment just in time for the New Year.
Those Ukrainians who plan to travel mostly stop in the Carpathians. Such Ukrainians make up 77% of those who want to go on a trip in general. The most common vacation rental budget is from 1,000 to 2,000 hryvnias.
Bukovel remains the most popular destination in the Carpathians. He is elected by 50% of Ukrainians. It is followed by Yaremche, Verkhovyna and Slavske with 29%, 27% and 24%, respectively. Most often, they go on vacation for 3-7 days.
The majority of Ukrainians (44%) are ready to spend from 2,000 to 5,000 hryvnias for the New Year. Approximately the same number are oriented at 2,000 hryvnias. Only 11% invest more than 10,000 hryvnias in the New Year’s budget.
