The National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption has informed that it would not start checking declarations or monitoring the lifestyle of the People’s Deputy from the “servant of the people” Alexei Kuznetsov, the person involved in the corruption.
Journalists found that the wife of People’s Deputy Alina Kuznetsova in 2021 purchased a plot with an unfinished house in Kiev.
The cost of the estate is now estimated by experts at more than $ 400 thousand. The NAPC explained that the Kuznetsov family had a financial capacity for this purchase, taking into account the loan received.
In response, the agency referred to legislative changes in 2025: assets are subject to inspections, acquired after November 28, 2019, if their value exceeds the legal income by more than UAH 1.5 million.
Recall that the NAPC confirmed the status of a corruption reveament to 132 persons.
