The Specialized Anti -Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAP) has initiated criminal proceedings on possible abuse of office by officials of the National Agency for Detection, Investigation and Management of Assets received from corruption and other crimes (ARMA).
About it reported SAP press service. The pre -trial investigation in the case was entrusted to detectives of the National Anti -Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU). Preliminary qualification – Part 2 of Art. 364 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (abuse of power or office, if it has caused grave consequences). The SAP emphasized that as of today, no person under this proceeding has been reported.
Earlier Media UA.news with reference to sources wrote that the National Anti -Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) prepares a notification of suspicion to one or several high -ranking agencies for the search and management of assets (ARMA). According to preliminary information, suspicions can be presented to officials at the highest level of ARMA leadership or management of territorial offices.
We will remind, in the Council they demand to immediately release the head of the ARMA Elena Duma. The Verkhovna Rada also approved as a whole the bill on the reform of the National Agency of Ukraine on the detection, search and management of assets obtained from corruption and other crimes (ARMA). It was an EU requirement.
