According to Ukrainian Pravda sources, as part of the investigation of an organized criminal group, people’s deputies from “Servant of the People” Evgeny Pyvovarov, Ihor Negulevskyi, Olga Savchenko and Yurii Kisiel received suspicions. Other suspicions are also possible.
Currently, suspicions have been brought against three People’s Deputies – Pyvovarov, Negulevsky and Kisel under Art. 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (receipt of unlawful benefit by an official).
According to the publication, NABU previously recorded confidential contacts of Kisel with former first assistant to the president Serhiy Shefir and other high-ranking officials, as well as a “cash window” where deputies received shadow payments.
The investigation began during the leadership of NABU Artem Sytnyk. At that time, according to the testimony of the now-deceased deputy Anton Polyakov, the party’s people’s deputies received “salaries in envelopes” – $5,000 for ordinary parliamentarians and $10,000-15,000 for committee heads. Later, the “cashier” – Oleksandr Trukhin – was taken out of the room.
According to sources, Yuriy Koryavchenkov (Yuzik) allegedly left Ukraine, but the faction denies this.
NABU and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office exposed organized a criminal group that included current people’s deputies of Ukraine. According to the investigation, parliamentarians systematically received money for voting in the Verkhovna Rada. The revelation was the result of an undercover special operation.
