The law enforcement officers checked all the objects in respect of which reports of mining had been received, and found out that all of them turned out to be false.
“Most of the calls came from Russian IP addresses. In total, more than 2,000 calls were processed, most of which related to administrative buildings,” the message states.
Criminal proceedings under Article 259 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine were opened in connection with false reports about a threat to the safety of citizens.
