According to the results of repatriation measures, Ukraine returned the bodies of 757 fallen military, the Coordination Headquarters on the Defense of Prisoners of Pursuing on Friday, January 24.

Among those who were returned to the country – the most dead from the Donetsk direction (451). Also among the returned:

  • 71 dead from the Bakhmut direction;
  • ⁠51 – from the coal direction;
  • 13 – from the Lugansk direction;
  • 137 – from the Zaporizhzhya direction;
  • 34 of the dead – from the morgues in the territory of the Russian Federation.

The coordination headquarters added that the fallen military will be transported to certain state specialized institutions. Investigators of law enforcement agencies will be established in the shortest possible time.

The last time to Ukraine was returned to Ukraine on December 20, 2024. Then the coordination headquarters reported on the return of 503 dead defenders, more than 400 of whom – from the Donetsk direction.
