According to the investigation, the official together with the deputy, accountant and subordinates organized a scheme of illegal sale of sandy mixture for cash at low prices. Sales were not recorded in official accounting.
Also, the group members systematically overstated the financial statements of fuel use for special equipment, appropriating the remains.
As a result of such actions, 61.5 thousand tons of sand worth more than UAH 5 million were eaten from his career during 2024. In addition, Ukrzaliznytsia suffered losses for over UAH 770 thousand due to unjustified debiting of fuel.
The prosecutor’s office reports that the persons involved in the appropriation and waste of property committed by an organized group, abuse of office and forgery of official documents (Part 5 of Article 191, Part 3 of Article 28, Part 3 of Article 358 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
