More than 300,000 residents of Dnipropetrovsk region are at risk of staying without water due to the lack of response of the authorities, the People’s Deputy of Ukraine Alexei Kucherenko warned.
According to him, the situation goes far beyond a simple technical problem – it is a threat of a serious humanitarian crisis in the frontline.
Public services did not restore the energy supply to the Dnipro-West Donbas enterprise, which provides water in Sinelnikovo, Pavlograd, Ternovtsi, Pervotravensk and many villages.
“Pon is ignored by the court decision, the executive service is silent, and the termination of water supply can cause outbreaks of infections, the destruction of the health care system, economic collapse and the mass escape of people from the region,” Kucherenko stressed.
He had already turned to the profile authorities, but there was no reaction. The People’s Deputy urges the Prime Minister, the Executive Service, the Minister of Justice, the Minister of Energy and the chairman of the Dnipropetrovsk OVA immediately intervene and ensure the enforcement of a court decision.
Kucherenko warns that the delay from the state will have irreparable consequences and will become a major political mistake that cannot be allowed in the frontline.
