More than 11,000 servicemen of Ukraine purchased housing under the “eOsel” preferential program.
This was announced by Prime Minister Yulia Svyridenko on social networks.
In total, 23,039 families received their own homes during the entire period of the initiative, and the amount of loans issued exceeded 39.7 billion hryvnias. Launched in October 2022, this program continues to support defenders and their families in wartime.
From January 11, 2026, access to a mortgage at 3% per annum is open to all military personnel, both contract and mobilized. Previously, concessions were limited to contract workers only, but the government has eliminated this disparity.
The first to take advantage of this opportunity were fighters like Petro Sydorishyn, mobilized in 2023, who together with his wife bought an apartment in Rivne.
The program covers a wide range of participants: military, veterans, medics, teachers, scientists and IDPs.
It is allowed to buy apartments or houses on the secondary market or at the stage of construction – provided that they comply with the regulations and avoid war zones.
To preserve the social character, limits were introduced: apartments up to 115.5 m², houses – up to 125.5 m².
We will remind you that the NBU will update the state mortgage program “eOselya”.
Also, more than 16,000 Ukrainian families purchased housing through eOselya.
