The ministry said that this year from June 1 to August 22, more than 64 thousand people were evacuated from two regions. At the same time, there are still people who need evacuation, with many children.
“Another 237,000 people need evacuation – these are people who continue to live in dangerous areas, including almost 17,200 children,” the statement said.
They also informed that the transit point in Pavlograd (Dnipropetrovsk region) is one of the key to evacuation. In addition, there is a new point in Lozova (Kharkiv region) and starts work in Volosko (Dnipropetrovsk region).
“A transit point in Lozova can be accepted by 244 people, and in three days of his work 224 people received comprehensive assistance in this paragraph. There were 17 people at the transit point yesterday. Everyone else has gone deep into the place of temporary accommodation, ”the ministry told.
In addition, the Minister of Community and Territories Development Alexei Kuleba noted that every region from which evacuation is carried out in safer regions has a partnership – host region.
Yes, Rivne, Kirovohrad and Kyiv regions are already taking evacuated. At the same time, Vinnytsia and Poltava are preparing for admission of internally displaced persons as needed.
“We are reformatting the transit points so that they only perform a temporary function, and people can move to safer regions throughout the day,” Kuleba emphasized.
The ministry also added that they continue to run evacuation trains with additional wagons.
It should be reminded that in July, a list of settlements was expanded on the right -bank part of the Kherson region, where the compulsory evacuation of the population was announced and the entry of families with children was forbidden. The corresponding decision was made by the Defense Council of the region.
In the Donetsk region, the forced evacuation of children from the villages of Shahovo and Toretsky began, which are part of the Shahiv community.
