In Monaco, law enforcement officers of Ukraine, together with colleagues from France and Monaco, detained the son of the Motor Sich Expature Vyacheslav Boguslaev – Alexander. Together with his father, he appears in the case of theft of an industrial giant’s assets.
Law enforcement officers have installed details of new criminal offenses committed by the sub -owner of a nationalized enterprise in Zaporozhye, the Prosecutor General’s Office reports.
According to the investigation, in violation of the national procedure, the exit owner’s family consolidated more than 65 % of the shares of the defense enterprise by 2014. They were designed for nominal owners of offshore companies.
After the war with the Russian Federation, realizing that the enterprise loses markets, the owner and his son illegally, without permission to transfer the controlling stake of shares of a monopoly Ukrainian enterprise, sold them to representatives of a foreign country.
During 2016-2025, the son of the Expature of JSC “Motor Sich”, in particular in the territory of France and Monaco legalized the funds received in the criminal way in the amount of more than $ 650 million.
In April 2025, the participants of the joint investigative group – prosecutors of the Prosecutor General and SBU staff participated in searches, detainees and interrogation of the son of the expert on the territory of the Principality of Monaco, conducted by the competent law enforcement agencies.
Law enforcement officers discovered numerous valuable property issued on the control of the former owner of persons, and his son was reported suspected of legalization of property obtained by crime in a particularly large amount (Part 3 of Article 209 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
At the same time in the territory of Ukraine the former owner of the enterprise was informed about suspicion of appropriation and legalization of property obtained in a particularly large amount (Part 5 of Article 191, Part 3 of Article 209 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
Earlier, we wrote that the State Property Fund was transferred to the management of assets owned by Vyacheslav Boguslaev and Petro Kononenko. Among them are Motor-Bank and Vinnytsia Aviation Plant.
It should also be reminded that on June 5, 2024, the Court of Appeal left in custody without the right to pledge former President of Motor Sich Vyacheslav Boguslaev.
In September 2024, the Ministry of Justice filed a second lawsuit with the Supreme Anticorruption Court on the application of sanctions to the expert deputy of Ukraine Vyacheslav Boguslaev in the form of recovery of the state of property he owns, namely – the real estate object and 100% of the share in the authorized capital.
In December 2024, the Supreme Anti -Corruption Court ruled on the confiscation of assets of the Expature of JSC “Motor Sich” Vyacheslav Boguslaev.
