The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine will focus on the development of a digital shopping center in the next six months, an updated military contract with improved service conditions and support of defense technology innovations.
This was stated by Defense Minister Denis Shmigal on Telegram after the presentation of President Vladimir Zelensky Plans by the Ministry of Defense until the end of 2025, for 2026, as well as a medium -term strategy.
Among the key goals for the next half:
⸰ increasing the share of purchases of Ukrainian weapons up to 50%;
⸰ audit of agreements with international partners, rhythmic funding and timely receipt of assistance;
⸰ introduction of the corps system and new principles of defense planning;
⸰ development of a new contract for servicemen with better terms;
⸰ Improvement of defense management management;
⸰ further digitalization of the defense sphere, including the platforms “Army+”, “Reserve+” and digital shopping center;
⸰ Implementation of Projects with EU participation within the limits of Build With Ukraine initiative;
⸰ Starting Defense City – the support of critical manufacturers of the OPC, as well as a grant program for military startups.
