The Ministry of Health determined the list of institutions with expert teams to replace the liquidated medical and social expert commissions.
According to the Ministry of Health, new expert teams that will assess the daily functioning of a person will work in 286 institutions throughout Ukraine. These institutions were chosen in such a way as to be as accessible as possible to people and at the same time meet modern standards for the quality of medical services.
In general, the department reported on the creation of 1,348 expert teams in the new system, which will employ more than 4,300 doctors, which is three times more than in the MSEK system.
The Ministry notes that these teams are formed according to specializations – in particular, surgical, traumatological, cardioneurological, psychiatric, etc.
The Ministry of Health also determined the list of doctors who will work in the Center for the Assessment of the Functional State of the Person, provide expert support and review decisions if the patient appeals them.

Earlier, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine supported draft law No. 12178, which provides for the liquidation of medical and social expert commissions (MSEK).
Medical and social expert commissions will be liquidated in Ukraine by the end of the year. Instead, they will create a mechanism that can be passed in absentia, said Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.
