The Ministry of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine reported that mandatory evacuation of children together with their parents or legal representatives has been agreed upon from a number of settlements in the Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia regions.
The decision was made based on the results of the meeting of the Coordination Headquarters for evacuation measures, which was held by Deputy Minister Oleksiy Ryabykin.
The ministry noted that the list of settlements is currently not made public. A decision was also made to evacuate wards from institutional care facilities in the Zaporizhzhia region, located at a distance of approximately 50 km from the battle line. Evacuation will be carried out taking into account safety requirements, medical indications and necessary support.
During the meeting, they discussed the work of transit centers and the possibility of opening an additional center in the Kharkiv region.
According to the agency, since June 1, 2025, almost 124,000 people have been evacuated from the frontline areas, including more than 14,500 children and more than 4,000 people with limited mobility. The largest number of people were deported from the Donetsk region — more than 85,400. Dnipropetrovsk region reports the evacuation of more than 24,600 people, Sumy region — more than 4,100, Kherson region — more than 3,500, Kharkiv region — more than 5,400, Zaporizhia region — more than 800 people.
In the Kharkiv region, the mandatory evacuation of families with children from the village of Odnorobivka was announced.
Also in Mandatory evacuation of families with children from the city of Druzhkivka, as well as from the villages of Andriivka, Varvarivka, Novoandriivka, and Rohanske of the Andriivka community begins in the Donetsk region.
