In May, Ukraine and Finland announced the creation of an international coalition on the strengthening of civil defense, which is intended to expand the shelter network in the country.
The initiative is aimed at building repositories, exchanging experience between countries in this field and creating tools for financing their equipment.
“Lithuania congratulates and fully supports Finland’s initiative to lead the coalition to create shelters for Ukraine. We are ready to join it, ”Nauseda said.
At the same time, he called on Finland to join the Lithuanian initiative for the construction of new schools in Ukraine.
Meanwhile, Kyiv and Vilnius signed an agreement on joint production of defense products.
Also, Ukraine and Canada have signed a plan of action on a security agreement.
