During the third stage of the guardian operation, prosecutors reported suspicion to 27 men who used counterfeit medical documents to avoid military service.
The operation was conducted under the coordination of the Attorney General’s office together with the National Police, the DBR and the internal security service of the Armed Forces.
The investigation found that the suspects were submitted to the military units of counterfeit certificates of serious illness or disability of relatives who allegedly needed constant care. Fictitious documents were also used on service.
In some cases, the medical documentation was completely invented – there were no data on the treatment of doctors at all.
We will remind, the SBU and the police detained the seven organizers of schemes of evasion of mobilization.
The DBR also investigated almost a thousand cases of evasion.
