What is known about the property of the Kalabashkin family
According to journalistic investigations, Kalabashkin’s relatives from 2021 to 2025 seemed to have owners of a considerable amount of real estate and cars:
• Three apartments in the center of Kiev (Golden Gate area) with a total cost of about $ 710,000.
• Villa Optima -style cottage and two land in the Riviera Village cottage – a total of $ 870,000.
• Five cars, including Mercedes, with a total cost of $ 215,000.
• Five parking lot worth $ 140,000.
Most of this real estate was issued for the mother -in -law, mother and wife of the official. In particular, Alla Severin’s mother -in -law purchased land and cottage, and his mother – an apartment at Yaroslav Grad LCD.

SBU and NAPC reaction to journalistic investigation
The Security Service of Ukraine stated that Ivan Kalabashkin was not related to the acquisition of this property, and his relatives, according to the SBU, bought real estate for their own accumulation and savings. At the same time, the department emphasized that the SBU staff complied with the requirements of the legislation on the declaration of property.

After the investigation, the National Anti -Corruption Agency (NACC) has begun monitoring of Kaabashkin’s lifestyle. The purpose of the audit is to establish the correspondence of the standard of living of the official and his family to their income and declared property.
According to the NAPC, the decision to start the inspection was made on May 9, 2025.
Journalists note that most of the elite real estate, the Kaabashkin family began to acquire allegedly after he received a leading position in the SBU. Some of the objects were purchased at prices significantly lower than market.
At the same time, no successful business in relatives of the official was allegedly found, and Kaabashkin himself and his relatives refused to communicate with journalists.
The SBU’s top official regularly participated in profile activities, in particular, to counteract drops and financial monitoring issues.
