Olena Ivanovskaya, the State Language Commissioner, called the “cynical and unacceptable” requirement of the Kremlin dictator Vladimir Putin to grant the Russian language the status of official in Ukraine.

Ivanovskaya also criticized his desire to get the security of Russian Orthodox churches.

“These requirements are cynical and unacceptable. They have nothing to do with human rights or freedom of choice. These are weapons of the ideological war, aimed at undermining Ukrainian independence, split of society and returning us to colonial status, ” – said Language Ombudsmenko.

Ivanovskaya emphasized that Russian in Ukraine – “instrument of imperial policy”, and called the Moscow Patriarchate “part of the same mechanism of submission.”

“Thousands of lives are devoted to the front, in our peaceful cities and villages – and each of them proves: our language, our faith, our culture are not sold or exchanged for ghostly peace. We must be conscious: concessions in the language issue are concessions on freedom. A step back in a language is a step towards losing the state. Ukrainian was, is and will be the only state language, ”the Commissioner added.

Recall that according to Reuters sources, Zelensky refused to give Donbas at the request of a Russian dictator.

Alaska held a meeting of US President Donald Trump with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin. The key topic of discussing two leaders will be a war in Ukraine.

US President Melania Trump’s wife raised the issue of Ukrainian children in Russia in a personal letter to the Kremlin’s owner Vladimir Putin.
