In Kyiv, a 36-year-old woman who has been systematically abusing her own child for a year has been informed of suspicion.

Investigators found out that the mother repeatedly committed physical and psychological violence against the nine-year-old boy, leaving him unattended and locking him in the toilet of the apartment.
Sometimes the woman did this for the whole night, depriving the child of the opportunity to rest or warm up, because the boy was there without clothes.
According to the Kyiv prosecutor’s office, the mother also tied her son with a charging cord from a mobile phone, purposefully restricting his movement. This behavior was repeated many times, creating a constant atmosphere of fear and humiliation.
The injured boy was eventually removed from the family – he is now under the supervision of doctors and psychologists.
Law enforcement officers opened criminal proceedings on the facts of torture and domestic violence. The women are accused of cruel treatment of the child, which caused moral and physical suffering to the victim.
Investigative actions are ongoing, and the prosecutor’s office insists on choosing a preventive measure for the suspect. If her guilt is proven, the woman faces a prison sentence.
