The Kyiv Customs has found an attempt to illegally export a collection of antique silicated products from Ukraine.
According to the Customs press service, 27 ancient household items were found in the international express sending that went from Rivne to Poland.
The parcel included mirrors, boxes, coffee and tea tableware, nuts and even a door hammer. According to experts of the National Museum of History of Ukraine, all subjects are a holistic collection of cultural values made by Polish masters in the second half of the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.

Raritators were created at the famous Warsaw factories: Fraget, Norblin & Co, Bracia Henneberg, Roman Plewkiewicz & Co, Fabryka Wolska Pod Warszawa and others operating in the time of the Kingdom of Polish. For example, among the removed – four objects from Fraget, five – from Norblin & Co, six – from Bracia Henneberg, known for its mirrors.

The customs reminded that according to Ukrainian legislation, the export of cultural values is possible only in the presence of a special certificate. In this case, there was no permit.
Upon violation of customs rules for the citizen who sent the parcel, a protocol under Art. 473 of the Customs Code of Ukraine.
