According to the baby, the suspect pleaded guilty and told the investigators about the methods of communication with the enemy.
“He published all ways of communication, turnout, passwords, approaches, points and contacts,” the SBU head said.
According to the baby, detention was the result of a long special operation, within which the suspect was controlled around the clock for several months. The security forces used the tactics of controlled transmission of misinformation to detect leakage channels.
“We controlled the information he conveyed to the other side. And at the FSB, there, in their palm they clapped, and thought that they got some top data. In fact, we misled them. But at some stage, everything has come to its logical conclusion – it was decided to be implemented, ”he explained.
The head of the SBU added that more than 14 episodes of transmission of misinformation, which was later used by the enemy. This is what made it possible to establish a complete picture of the traitor’s cooperation with the Russian side.
Kozyura is currently working with the investigation. The baby does not exclude that in the future it can be used in exchange for Ukrainian prisoners of war.
“There is a chance that it can be exchanged for Ukrainian prisoners if he continues to work with us,” the SBU chairman said.
At the beginning of February this year, the SBU announced the revelation of the “rat” in its ranks. The traitor was the head of the headquarters of the anti -terrorist center at the SBU Colonel Dmitry Kozur.
He was detained personally by the SBU chairman Vasyl Malyuk. The person involved is suspected of cooperation with Russia. According to the SBU, the official has been recruited since 2018.
