US Special Representative Kit Kelloggus called positive negotiations with the Ukrainian side in London on Wednesday, April 23.
“Positive negotiations in London with (Head of the Presidential Office – Ed.) Andriy Yermak. It’s time to move forward in the Presidential Military Directive (The US Donald – Ed.) Trump on Ukraine and Russia: to stop killing, to reach peace and to put America in the first place, ”Kellogo said on the social network.
Earlier, the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Rustem Umerov reported that the Ukrainian delegation in London had carried out “Productive ”negotiations with the state representative Kellog.
According to Umerov, during the meeting, the ceasefire, as well as security guarantees, was discussed in particular.
“For my part, I believe that the meeting was very productive and successful, ”Umerov said.

Andriy Yermak also stated that Ukraine has conveyed its position and stressed that “the immediate, full and unconditional ceasefire should be the first step before the negotiations on the achievement of just and long peace.”
On April 23, negotiations with representatives of the United Kingdom, France, Germany and the United States took place in London. The Minister of Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga, Rustem Umerov’s Defense Minister and Presidential Head Andriy Yermak took part in the negotiations.
From the UK was the adviser to the Prime Minister for National Security Jonathan Powell. From France is the diplomatic adviser to President Emmanuel Bonn, and from Germany – the adviser to the Chancellor on Foreign Policy and Security Jens Pletner.
Three Important Meetings. Sibiga told the details of the negotiations in London
Earlier it was reported that on April 23 in London there will be a meeting of representatives of the United States, Ukraine and Europe on the war of Russia against Ukraine. US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and US President Steve Witcoff was involved in the meeting, but later Financial Times correspondent Christopher Miller reported that they would not be in negotiations.
Subsequently, according to Sky News, ministers of the United Kingdom, the USA, France, Germany and Ukraine postponed a planned meeting in London for high -level negotiations. Thereafter, the UK Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the negotiations would take place at a lower level and will be closed to the media.
