“It can turn up with a disaster.” Without US weapons will be very difficult to fight, the authorities did not provide the worst scenario – an interview with Kaleniuk

– You represent a team of advocacy to giving us weapons from the United States, personally met with Americans, convinced to provide such necessary weapons to Ukraine. Do you think all the work – both yours and your colleagues – now came to naught? Are the chances of restoring relations between Ukraine and the US remain, as well as the chances of help?

– Of course, the chances remain, but now it depends not on us, not on public teams on advocacy, but on our power, on the President [Володимира] Zelensky, from those who advise him in relations with the United States.

There are many versions whether Donald Trump has already planned to stop helping us, whether it is a reaction to a stormy emotional altercation in the White House. But the fact remains: without weapons from the United States it will be very difficult for us to fight. We depend on the US, even our relations with Europe depend on the US. Why? Because Europeans, although they have already begun to wake up and talk about their willingness to send an armed contingent in order to guarantee peace after the conditional freezing of the war … They have already started talking about the willingness to confiscate Russian arrested assets, if there would be frost and after it Russia would break the agreement. But Europe will be ready to do it if America guarantees its safety.
