The reburial killed at the National Military Memorial Cemetery will take place on the basis of the threat of the death of the dead, which:
- participated in the struggle for independence of Ukraine in the XX century in the authorities, organizations, structures and formations;
- amended by the State of the first Law of Ukraine “On Legal Status and Honoring the Memory of Fighters for Independence of Ukraine in the XX Century”;
- made a significant contribution to the struggle for independence, the development of the Ukrainian state.
Legal or natural persons who have become aware of the possible threat of further preservation of the grave of the deceased (deceased) at the existing burial place, apply in an arbitrary statement to the Ukrainian Institute of National Memory. Within 30 calendar days from the date of receipt, he submits to the Ministry of Veterans a proposal for the reburial of the dead (deceased) in the military cemetery.
At the same time, the Ukrainian Institute of National Memory can independently submit a request for information about the possible threat of further preservation of the grave of the dead at the current place of burial to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (in case of placement of the grave of the dead abroad) or the regional, Kyiv city state administration (military administration).
The reburial service will be provided free of charge. The objects of ritual affiliation, which are provided free of charge during the reburial of the dead in the military cemetery, include: a portrait of the deceased (in the presence of a corresponding photo); State Swill; temporary wooden lining of the grave; wooden tombstone; plate on a wooden tombstone or a temporary plate on a columbar niche (in case of reburial urn with dust into a columbar niche); Wellet structure, including a memorial plate (in the case of burial with a dust in a columbar niche).
