The SBU in Zaporizhzhya detained a Russian agent who prepared enemy air strikes on energy generating enterprises of Ukraine.

The main task of the detainee was to search and transfer the enemy of coordinates of substations that generate electricity for Zaporizhzhya and Dnipropetrovsk regions.
As the investigation established, the Russian agent was a 28-year-old graduate of Zaporizhzhya Electrotechnical College. Russian military intelligence, better known as a game, recruited it through Telegram channels.
According to the instructions of the curator, the person involved in work at the leading energy company of Zaporozhye to spy for the enemy “inside” of the enterprise. In particular, the agent reported to the Russians about the consequences of their attacks on energy facilities, as well as collecting data on the restoration of capacity of enterprises after shelling.
The person also traveled to Dnipropetrovsk periodically, where he searched for similar information about the functioning of the region’s grid.
The man also denoted the geolocation of potential “goals” on the map, and prepared a text description of each object. The suspect is in custody without bail. He is threatened with life imprisonment with the confiscation of property.
Recall that in several regions of Ukraine, the counterintelligence of the Security Service and the National Police detained five associates of the aggressor country, including teenagers of 14-17 years. They made diversions and prepared terrorist attacks.
