This year, the Jewish New Year of Rosh Ha-Shan in Uman will take place, despite the rumors of the possible cancellation. More than 45,000 pilgrims are expected to arrive in the city, which will be gathered for prayer at the Tzadik Nahman’s grave. The relevant statement was made by the PR Director of the International Charitable Foundation named after Rabbi Nakhman Anastasia Baryshnikov.
Recall that on the eve of the annual pilgrimage of Hasidim to celebrate Rosh Ha-Shan Ambassador of Israel in Ukraine Michael Brodsky visited Uman. The diplomat passed the water treatment system to the local hospital.
