Forecasters warn of intense rains, gusty wind and declare a “yellow” level of danger in a number of regions.
Particularly unfavorable meteoroes are predicted for Zhytomyr, Vinnytsia, Khmelnytsky and Chernivtsi regions – significant rainfall may be accompanied by thunderstorms.
In the eastern regions, strong wind gusts are expected – up to 15-20 meters per second. It is because of this that experts also declare the level of danger, which are denoted as “yellow”.
This situation can create difficulties for the work of energy, utilities and builders, as well as affect the safety of traffic.
Meteorologists advise drivers not to leave the car under the trees and carefully monitor the prompt reports of the change of weather conditions.
The rains will cover almost the entire territory of the country, the exception – the East, where dry weather will remain. Thunderstorms are possible in the north and west, and the air temperature will remain comfortable: in the west – up to +15 °, in the center – up to +23 °, in the east and southeast – up to +30 °.
There are short -term rains, moderate temperatures and gusty wind in Kiev. At night, the thermometer columns will show +15 °, in the afternoon – up to +18 °.
Next week, from May 26 to May 30, rainy weather will persist in most regions. Rainfall will be accompanied by thunderstorms, but the heat is not predicted. The wind is mostly northwest, its speed will reach 7-12 m/s, and in the east-up to 20 m/s.
In the western regions, the night temperature can drop to +4 °, and in the daytime it will increase to +17 °. In the east and south of the country, it is expected to +30 ° in the afternoon.

Also we will remind that on Sunday, January 26, two temperature records were recorded in Kiev. This was the first maximum since the beginning of 2025.
