In an interview with “Interfax-Ukraine”, the general director of the “Kovalska” group, Serhiy Pylypenko, told about this.
“On average, prices rise at the level of inflation – from 10 to 15%, depending on the goods. The most expensive products are those that are cement-intensive, energy-intensive or labor-intensive,” he clarified.
In particular, according to Pylypenko, the price of concrete increased by approximately 7-10% year-on-year, reinforced concrete products – by 12-15%, paving tiles increased in price by almost 20%.
Crushed stone and sand showed the lowest price increase – up to 10%.
According to Pylypenko, the greatest growth was demonstrated by human resources, wages increased by 25% or more.
“It’s getting harder and harder to find qualified people, and that’s why it’s sometimes difficult for us to complete some orders at the speed we’d like,” he said.
