From July 1, 2025 in Ukraine will take action Experimental social assistance project for low -income families.
This was reported by the press service and Pension Fund .
From July 1, 2025, families, who are the recipients: on July 1, 2025, will be able to receive the payment as early as July 1, 2025:
- state social assistance to low -income families;
- help with children for single mothers;
- benefits for children raised in large families;
- Temporary state aid for children whose parents evade child support are not able to retain a child or their place of residence is unknown.
From October, other families who meet the criteria will be able to join the program.
You can apply online through the action portal or at the Pension Fund Service Center. The amount of assistance will depend on the income and the number of family members. The basic amount for the calculation is 4500 UAH per person, with discounts for the following family members.
Assistance is prescribed for six months with automatic continuation on the entire time of the project (up to two years).
Meanwhile, the UN World Food Program has continued to pay additional financial assistance for pensioners, persons without retirement and people with disabilities by the end of July 2025. Money will be able to get those who live in frontline areas.
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine amended the procedure for payment of pensions and financial assistance through current accounts with banks. Banks now have to inform the Pension Fund about citizens’ identification.
