Law enforcement officers detained in Ukraine one of Igor Naumenko’s most influential criminal authorities on the nickname “Naum”. He controlled criminal schemes in Odessa, Mykolaiv and Kherson regions and demanded millions in the interests of Russia.
Naumenko influenced the colony, appointed “watch”, smoked the “Black Cashier” and maintained ties with the Russian criminal circles, reports the National Police of Ukraine.
Authority was officially recognized by Russian “Vira in the Law”, such as Shakro Young, Koba Rustansky, Gilan Sedoi and others. He reported to them about his activities and transferred some of the criminal income, due to Naum’s relations received the status of a “position”, that is, had the right to influence criminal processes in the colonies of southern Ukraine.
Law enforcement officers conducted 50 searches in four regions, and Naum reported suspicion of establishing and spreading criminal influence and extortion in particularly large amounts. He was taken into custody.
Suspicions were given to the former and valid “stubborn” on the Nikolaev detention center.
Law enforcement officers have already established the facts of the criminal influence of Naum. In particular, there is an attempt to raider the agricultural enterprise. A businessman who refused to act on the instructions of the suspect was set an ultimatum: either $ 550,000, or he voluntarily transmits the property complex in the Odessa region and 60 trucks. The man was threatened with problems if he refused.
In addition, large -scale abuses in the pre -trial detention center and colonies were recorded. According to law enforcement officers, Naum demanded money from the detainee who did not recognize the thieves “rules”, threatening and intimidating it. The victim transferred the defendant to the case of more than 86 000 UAH, his mother sent the funds to the accounts that were issued to the front persons, or replenished the “watch” phones.
Naum can threaten up to 15 years behind bars with confiscation of property.
Earlier it was reported that in Poltava region criminal authority, together with his son, wanted to kill a police officer and a deputy.
In the town of Smila, in the Cherkasy region, they were beaten after a serviceman’s injury. The network says that it has committed local criminal authority. Police have already opened criminal proceedings on hooliganism.
