The Armed Forces of Ukraine launched an automated system that distributes drones between units. Digitization made it possible to make the process fast and transparent.
This was announced by the Minister of Defense Mykhailo Fedorov.
According to him, previously “manual” distribution caused duplication of applications, delays and errors due to the human factor, which made it difficult to plan operations.
“Now the path of the drone from arrival at the warehouse to receipt by the unit has been reduced by 2-3 times – to about one day,” Fedorov noted.
The system works on the basis of SAP and covers the entire supply chain: from procurement to transfer to divisions. It allows you to see orders in real time, control the number of drones in warehouses, create orders for delivery in a few minutes and plan deliveries without duplication and delays.
“For the military, this means faster delivery and more accurate planning. For the state, it is transparent control of supplies,” the minister emphasized.
In December–January, the Ministry of Defense it turned out on high the average indicator of the supply of interceptor drones for the Ukrainian army.
Ministry of Defense strengthened requirements for defense industry enterprises with debts.
