After the attack on the bridge in Mayakiv district in Odesa region, the Ukrainian authorities are actively working to reorient traffic flows in the south of the country. It is about the organization of alternative routes that should ensure uninterrupted passenger transportation, logistics and transit in the direction of the state border and Danube ports.
This was announced in Telegram by the Deputy Prime Minister for the Reconstruction of Ukraine, the Minister of Community and Territorial Development, Oleksiy Kuleba.
New routes are being developed for passenger transport, freight transport and transit flows, which will connect the region with border checkpoints and the Danube route.
Transport is diverted taking into account the security situation and the capacity of the road network.
At the same time, Ukraine coordinates actions with the Republic of Moldova. Parties are working out transit routes and alternative ways of communicationin order to prevent disruptions in the logistics of the south of the country.
Since the beginning of autumn, Russia has been systematically using the same tactics – strikes with kamikaze drones of the Shahed type and ballistic missiles on the logistics routes of the frontline regions.
The main goal of such attacks – put pressure on the civilian population, make movement difficult and disrupt the supply and stable operation of regions near the front.
In response, the Ukrainian side is working to restore and strengthen the protection of the logistics infrastructure, as well as to expand the network of alternative routes.
The organization of new traffic routes continues to ensure continuous communication and life activity in the south of Ukraine.
