In the village of Protsiv, in the Kiev region, law enforcement officers exposed the rector of the religious community, who is suspected of illegally seizing cult buildings.

According to sources of the publication, it is about the rector of the temple of St. Michaelsky in the village of Protsiv-Archimandrite Yurash Vladimir.
The investigation found that the clergyman, in plot with a relative, allegedly forged documents on the decisions of the community meeting to transfer church property. In the future, he submitted the forged documentation to the church management and received permission to alienate premises, which in total occupy an area of almost 500 square meters.
Subsequently, using a fake protocol, a donation agreement was drawn up in favor of the abbot sister through a private notary. Thus, cultural objects, worth more than UAH 7 million, were illegally transferred to private property.
The abbot was informed of suspicion under Part 5 of Art. 191 (fraction of property in particularly large sizes) and Part 1 of Art. 366 (official forgery) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The pre -trial investigation is ongoing.
