In the village of Mykhailivka-Rubezhivka in Kyiv region, a 41-year-old man blew up a grenade while attempting to detain police who arrived on the call of domestic violence. The attacker was killed on the spot, and five law enforcement officers were framed and were hospitalized.
The incident happened on July 12 at about 22:33, when the 18-year-old girl appealed to the police with a report that her father threatened her and family with the use of grenade and firearms.
During the entrance to the house to stop the offense, the abuser activated a grenade and threw it towards police. After the explosion, law enforcement officers fired towards the attacker to stop his illegal actions. The man was killed at the scene.
