The employees of the Kyiv Detention Center have carried out a repeat search in the chamber, where for the former head of Khmelnytsky MSEC Tatiana Krupa has been in custody for almost seven months.
During this check, a mobile phone was found in the cereals, which is a direct violation of the rules of detention. In addition, two more phones were found in the sleeping place of another imprisoned in the same chamber. All of these devices were removed immediately after detection, as required by the legislation and internal rules of the pre -trial detention center.
Particular attention was paid to Tatiana Group’s attempt to remove information from her phone during a search. Investigators suggest that this could have been related to remote management of bank accounts abroad.
In the course of the pre -trial investigation, it turned out that in December 2024, the croup, while in custody, closed the account with a Swiss bank, which stored $ 599 thousand.
She did not formally report these funds that she became an additional argument for the investigation into her possible involvement in financial fraud.
It should be noted that mobile phones are included in the list of items forbidden for storage and use of prisoners. According to the Rules, no convicted or detainee has the right to have such devices, and violation of this provision entails additional sanctions.
Recall that Tatiana Krupa was detained with her son last year. During the searches in their home, law enforcement officers seized almost $ 6 million in cash. According to the investigation, she organized a scheme for illicit disability for men who tried to avoid mobilization, receiving bribes.
The court recently continued her arrest with the possibility of making a bail of UAH 240 million.
Recall that the investigation of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine exposed large-scale financial frauds related to the former chairman of the Khmelnytsky Medical and Social Expert Commission by Tatiana Krupy.
