The new commander of the 12th Brigade of Special Purpose of Azov of the National Guard of Ukraine was appointed Lieutenant Colonel Bogdan Grishenkov (call sign “Pugach”).

Grishenkov is a professional military with almost ten years of experience in Azov. He went from the ordinary soldier to the company commander, the chief of staff and the battalion commander.
The National Guard noted that the new Kombrig is accepting the brigade at the time of its greatest development.

Bogdan Grishenkov was born on October 20, 1993 in Slavyansk Donetsk region. He studied at the Aviation College, and later at the Ivan Kozhedub Kharkiv National University of Air Force, majoring in Energy Systems.
In 2015, he joined the Azov ranks. In February 2022 he headed one of the mouth of a separate detachment of special purpose.
