Law enforcement officers brought to court the case of a dentist and anesthesiologist from Ternopil, who had a one -year -old boy after the medical procedure.

Law enforcement officers found that the parents of a one-year-old child sought a dentist from one of the city hospitals in August 2023. The medical worker found a small patient in a small patient, so he was sent for surgery under anesthesia. During the procedure, the patient began to fall blood pressure, so he was taken to the intensive care unit. In the end, the boy died.
Forensic examination found that the cause of the death of the baby was acute pulmonary heart failure.

In December 2024, law enforcement officers reported suspicion of anesthesiology who participated in the operation. In January 2025, the dentist was suspected.
They are charged with improper performance of professional duties in the treatment of a child – a crime provided for in Article 140 (2) of the Criminal Code. Doctors are threatened with imprisonment for up to three years with deprivation of the right to occupy certain positions or engage in certain activities for up to three years.
A similar case recently happened in Kiev, where a seven -year -old boy died during a dentist. Previously, death was a stop of the baby’s heart after he was introduced anesthesia.
