Police of Ternopil region installed a person of a 19-year-old local resident who left a newborn boy near a closed store in Vyshnivtsi village. The woman was not on medical records and gave birth to a baby at home.

A newborn boy was previously found near an inappropriate store in Vyshnivka. The child was hospitalized with signs of hypothermia, doctors stabilized her condition.
Investigators qualified the event under Part 2 of Art. 135 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – “Leaving in danger”. The sanction provides up to three years of restriction or imprisonment.
Police opened a crime thanks to a set of operational measures – interviewed residents of the village, analyzed records from CCTV cameras, checked information about pregnant women in the region, and cooperated with medical institutions and social services.
