In Sumy, eight round-the-clock Invincibility Points will be opened after the next strikes by Russian UAVs, and street lighting will be temporarily turned off to reduce the load on the power grid.
This was reported by acting of the mayor Artem Kobzar.
“After another attack by UAVs, which caused power outages, we held an urgent meeting of the commission of TEB and NS. It was decided to open eight stationary Points of Invincibility that will work 24 hours a day,” Kobzar said.
He added that the possibility of deploying five more mobile points is also being considered.
In addition, due to the difficult energy situation, the commission decided to temporarily turn off street lighting, leaving autonomous operation only at large intersections.
