On the night of Wednesday, December 4, explosions rang out in Ryazan in the Diaghilev district, where the local military airbase is located.

This was reported by the Russian Astra Telegram channel.

The governor of the Ryazan region, Pavlo Malkov, said that the local air defense allegedly shot down three UAVs over the territory of the region. According to him, there are no previous victims and no destruction.

Diaghilev Air Base in Ryazan is the location of the 43rd Center for Combat Use and Retraining of Aircrew, equipped with Tu-95MS, Tu-22M3, Tu-134UBL and Il-78 refueling aircraft. The 360th Aviation Repair Plant is located near the airbase.
