On the evening of March 25, the Kremlin published a list of energy infrastructure objects from the United States, which, as he claims, has not been struck since March 18.
The Kremlin’s statement refers to the “Temporary Moratorium on Powls of the Energy System”, which should be adhered to by Ukraine and the Russian Federation, and the list of objects agreed between Moscow and Washington.
These include:
- oil refineries;
- oil, gas pipelines and storage facilities, including pumping stations;
- infrastructure that produces and transmits electricity, including power plants, substations, transformers and distributors;
- nuclear power plants;
- Dams of hydroelectric power plants.
The Kremlin’s statement states that the Temporary Moratorium was valid from March 18 (despite the statement on the Ukrainian side, that it was actually violated by Russia on the first day) and was calculated for 30 days.
“In case of violation of the moratorium, one party has the right to consider itself free from obligations to comply with it,” Putin added.
Recall that on March 25, a new round of negotiations between the US and Ukraine took place in Saudi Arabia. The delegations have already completed the second meeting in Riyardi.
