In the Rivne region, the prosecutor’s office returned from private property hydrotechnical structures worth more than UAH 2.3 billion. The right to own a private company in a complex of hydraulic structures – protective dams with a total area of more than 170 thousand square meters, was terminated.

Prosecutors found that hydraulic structures, which exceeding UAH 2.3 billion, were on the balance of one of the state -owned enterprises, but in 2016, due to illegal state registration of real estate rights, these structures were privately owned.
The protective dams were brought to the authorized capital of a private legal entity and resold, so the property was owned by one of the capital agricultural firm.
Responding to these violations, the Varas District Prosecutor’s Office went to court. The Commercial Court of Rivne Oblast, and subsequently the Northwest Appeal Court of Appeal, supported the position of the prosecutor’s office and satisfied the claim in the interests of the state in the person of the regional branch of the State Property Fund of Ukraine in Kyiv, Cherkasy and Chernihiv regions to LLC.
Earlier, the Rivne automobile repair plant became state property again after a long litigation.
