The National Asset Management and Management Agency (ARMA) has identified a manager for a part of the arrested real estate owned by Russian Army General Valery Kapashin, a native of Poltava region.

According to the results of the tender of the management of three objects in Poltava was received by the company “Stalbat”. It is a public cafe house on Chornovola Street, a non-residential bank on Vatutina Street and an apartment with a parking space on Kotlyarevsky Street.
The total estimated value of these assets exceeds UAH 76 million. In particular, the Chornovola cafe was estimated at UAH 17.6 million, bank premises – 48.3 million, and an apartment with a parking room – at UAH 10.4 million.
The winner of the tender was the only part-time company, which offered the amount of UAH 250 thousand for the management of this property, although the initial value of the purchase was 300 thousand hryvnias.
It is known that Valery Kapashin is the Colonel-General of the Occupation Army of the Russian Federation, who manages the Federal Institution for chemical weapons.
According to the investigation, he bought real estate in Poltava and the region, using dubious sources of financing.
The property was issued on the daughter and son -in -law of Kapashin, who lived in Ukraine to a full -scale invasion, but later left for Russia and received its citizenship.
In August 2023, the Security Service of Ukraine arrested Kapashin’s property with a total value of more than UAH 1 billion.
The list of blocked assets includes more than 20 commercial facilities, more than 3 thousand square meters of residential real estate and 17 land plots. Among the arrested are elite hotels, restaurants, office centers and Kapashin’s family.
Law enforcement officers found that profits from these assets were partially used to finance projects in Russia and in the temporarily occupied territories of the Donbass.
During the searches, they revealed a military uniform, prohibited symbolism and propaganda literature of the aggressor country.
Criminal proceedings were opened against the General under articles on assistance to the aggressor state, terrorism financing and cooperation with the occupation administration.
We will remind, the National Agency for search and management of assets has concluded an agreement with the new manager of the House of Trade Unions, located on the Independence Square in Kiev.
We also reported that NABU and SAP have sent a case of fraud during the trade of arrested property transferred to the National Agency of Ukraine for the detection, search and management of assets obtained from corruption and other crimes (ARMA).
