The CEO, his deputy on legal issues, head of the structural unit of the medical institution on mental health and accountant of the city hospital were suspected. They were charged with official forgery, obstruction of the legitimate activity of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and obtaining an undue benefit by an official.

According to the investigation, during December 2024 – March 2025, mental health officials for monetary rewards from $ 7 to $ 20,000 organized fictitious inpatient treatment of the military. The documents contained deliberately false information about the presence of serious mental illness, which determined them unsuitable for military service and withdrawal from military accounting. At least 20 episodes of fake medical findings have been documented.
In addition, in Belgorod-Dnestrovsk, the accountant of the city hospital offered a serviceman from the combat unit who was on treatment, assistance in receiving his disability with his close relatives for 210 thousand hryvnias. This was the basis for his release from military service.
All the suspects were detained and precautionary measures were chosen.
Work is underway to update military accounting and check the facts of the use of fictitious medical documents when passing the military medical commissions. All men were taken from the account of the investigated time delivered to the CCC and JV to carry out repeated objective VLK.
