The traitor turned out to be a 21-year-old resident of the front-line town of Kostyantynivka, Donetsk region. The woman was recruited by two representatives of the Russian special services, and it was on their instructions that she was supposed to arrive in the Odesa region and rent an apartment there, in which the explosives were later manufactured.
“The basis for the explosive device was a plastid that she took from a previously prepared hiding place. At the same time, in order to cause maximum damage, the agent stuffed it with nuts, and for remote detonation, she equipped a mobile phone,” the SBU explained.
The traitor was detained immediately after laying the means of destruction.
According to part 2 Art. 258 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (terrorist act committed by a group of persons based on a prior conspiracy), the girl faces 12 years in prison.
In addition, in Dnipro, operatives of the police and SBU prevented a terrorist attack on the railway tracks, detaining two suspects.
Recently, in the west and south of Ukraine, the Security Service and the National Police eliminated new schemes for evading mobilization. As a result of comprehensive measures, 6 organizers of the riots were detained.
