In Nikolaev, on Monday, July 15, most kindergartens suspend work due to an accident on the centralized water supply system.

According to the City Hall, the decision is forced, because in pre-school institutions without centralized water supply it is impossible to provide proper sanitary and hygienic conditions for the safe stay of children.
Some gardens that have autonomous water sources will continue to work in the usual mode. It is about preschool institutions № 92, 99, 112 and 147.
The restoration of the work of other kindergartens is promised to report after stabilization of the situation with water supply. The City Council assured that the education department keeps the situation under control and cooperates with the relevant services.
Earlier, we wrote that the European Union announced the provision of 30 million euros to restore the water supply system in Kryvyi Rih, which suffered significant damage after Russia was destroyed by the Kakhovsky Dam in June 2023.
