In Lviv, the railway district court found guilty of treason and illegal handling of weapons of the chief of apartment and operational service of the Lviv military unit, Major Yuri Lavryk. The man was punished in the form of 15 years in prison with confiscation of property.

According to the investigation, the FSB recruited Lavryk through his exjusted – a resident of the occupied part of the Zaporizhzhya region, which moved to the side of the Russian Federation.
During March – June 2024, the man shot the location of personnel and equipment in Lviv on the phone and handed the video via Telegram.
In addition, Lavryk bought starting packages of Ukrainian mobile operators and, through his ex -wife, handed them to the FSB curators for the work of the agent network.
During the search of the SBU, the AC-74U machine and 30 rounds, which he kept at home, seized the SBU.
In court, Major pleaded guilty and confirmed that he had cooperated with the FSB and handed over a video with military dislocations in Lviv. He stated that he brought the weapon from Kryvyi Rih, but why he did not report it – could not explain.
The panel of judges under the chairmanship of Andriy Lyusha condemned Lavryk to 15 years in prison, but the sentence can still be appealed.
