In Lviv, from June 1, residents and guests of the city are waiting for new fares for public transport.
The relevant decision was made on May 30 by the Executive Committee of the Lviv City Council.
The changes apply primarily to non -cash pay, which becomes more profitable for certain categories of passengers.
The cost of one trip for students from Leokart will be 8.5 UAH. If you pay for the passage of ordinary “leocart” or through the LEOCARD application, the amount will be 17 UAH.
For those who use the bank card, the tariff increases to 20 UAH. Payment in cash will remain unchanged – 25 UAH, which makes this method the most expensive of all possible.
The cost of transportation of luggage also depends on the method of payment: at non -cash payment – 17 UAH, and for payment in cash – 25 UAH. The fine for the free travel is set at the level of 400 UAH.
The city council explains that new tariffs are a compromise between the requirements of carriers that insisted on raising the cost to 30-50 UAH and the interests of passengers.
According to the City Council, only 7% of passengers pay in cash, and this method remains the most expensive. Since Leocart introduction, the average cost of a trip for passengers has decreased from 15 to 13 UAH, and this method of payment has become the most popular in the last one and a half years.
An additional advantage for Leokart owners is the ability to translate for 40 minutes.
We will remind, the Executive Committee of the Lviv City Council approved new rules for the work of street musicians, photographers and animators in the city center.
We have already reported that since March 21, public transport of Kyiv – communal and private – works during the announcement of air alarm.
